What is Building Control
Our approach is to keep things as easy as possible, with one simple to understand price rather than price per type of addition, p/m2 or a percentage of the estimated overall cost.
If you intend to improve your existing dwelling, build a new dwelling or convert a commercial unit, you'll almost always need to make a Building Control Application to demonstrate how your development will comply with the latest version of the Building Regulations 2010. It doesn't matter what type of dwelling, one simple price
A fixed fee at just £1,750 per dwelling for new customers!

Types of Application
Our price includes a Building control application to your local authority. That means we'll combine our information with any reports or other information you provide us, complete the application on your behalf and nominate you as the beneficiary to pay the local authority fee

1 FREE Revision
Your confidence and overall happiness with your final detail is vital, that's why we include a FREE revision in our price. That means that throughout the process, prior to your application being submitted we'll happily make a single changes to your drawings. Just let us know and we'll get it sorted for you

Ongoing Support
We don't just submit your application and walk away, we act as your agent throughout the entire process. This means that if and when the local authority reach out for additional information, providing it's within our scope we'll produce that for FREE, otherwise we'll reach out to you and coordinate the whole thing

The £500 Discount
Every one of our Clients, homeowner, developer, builder or other professional will receive a £500 discount off any follow-on works for that project. The reason for this is simple, we don't have to draw your project from scratch! Simply put, if we've already drawn your project why would we you charge as if we haven't
What's Included and What's Not?
What's included in the price?
We'll use either the drawings you provide us (in .RVT format) or the ones we've already drawn to produce:
- Site/block plan at 1:500 scale
- Location plan at 1:1250 scale
- Floor plans
- Elevations
- Sections
- U-value calculations
- BTU calculations
- Technical/detail drawings
- Compliance document
- Your OS Map (A3 in dwg format)
- We submit the application on your behalf
What's not included in the price?
We can't offer you everything but we try to keep it to a minimum:
- We do not pay the local authority fees and leave that to you
- We leave any specialist reports to you for free-issue to us to include in the final submission
- We do not buy any other type of plan except the OS Map
- We do not complete a survey
- Extra revisions over-and-above the 1 FREE revision are not included
- We don't ship out paper plans but do give you access to electronic copies
- We don't buy your title or title plan and need you to advise if there are any restricted covenants or charges on your property that would affect the proposal
What happens if I can provide you with the Revit (.RVT) file?
If you can provide us with the native Revit (.RVT) file then we will happily deduct £500 from this price as a thank you for not making us draw your project!
Unfortunately we can't offer this discount for PDF and CAD drawings
